Nearby options were limited and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago’s local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food. It was an immediate hit. When they discovered people from other companies sneaking into their office, they knew they were on to something and Fooda was born. Fooda pioneered the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside offices. Today, we operate in 45 cities with over 100 million meals served and continue to grow rapidly.
Powered by technology and a network of 1500+ restaurants, we feed hungry people at work through a platform of unique food programs located within companies, office buildings, hospitals, schools, distribution centers, and more. What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the “face” of the Fooda program and create a welcoming, hospitable environment day in and day out.
- Receive Popup restaurants and Fooda Drivers each day to ensure a smooth setup.
- Ensure the Fooda “Service Experience” is consistently offered to all customers.
- Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures.
- Setup meals in an organized way to allow Client employees to easily find their meal.
- Communicate late arriving meals to client and customers.
- Help customers deal with late, incorrect, or missing orders.
- Escalate issues to Operations team when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve.
- You love building relationships with customers and enjoy customer service.
- You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you’re capable of finding solutions.
- You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
- You are savvy with technology.
- You are looking for a steady part-time job between the hours of 10am-2pm, Tuesday-Thursday. May be opportunities for additional hours on an as-needed basis.
- Prior catering, serving, or event experience preferred.
- Must have a car.
